Workstation Graphics Cards

I want to buy a workstation graphics card. I want to spend around $400 AUD. Can anyone advise me on a good card and can anyone tell me if the fans on Leadtek quadros are loud. Thanx in advance.

The card is to be used with Windows XP and it will be used with Solidworks 2005.
