Well, I've never had this problem before, but the other day, I noticed epsxe wouldn't read or write to my memory cards. Well I went on a long and annoying quest to fix it, only to eventually notice that somehow I had just switched to the wrong memory cards:dead:. Well I set it back to the right ones, but now, for some reason, ePSXe won't find my video plugins, which has never happened before... it also didn't recognize my bios, but I figured that out I think.

Do you start ePSXe from a shortcut?

I have a folder on my desktop which has ePSXe and all of its folders and everything inside.

If it helps I originally ran 1.7, but I tried it with 1.6 as well and it still would not find the plugins.

right click the epsxe folder, and click properties
click security tab

add the everyone account and enable all permissions, applying them to all files in the folder.

try again.
