I think in the next release of ePSXe (or the next after...), there should be some new features along with the usual upgrades and fixes. Here are a couple of my wishes, feel free to add your own.

- Fast Forward or "Turbo Mode": Wouldn't it be great if you could just speed up the frame rate by holding a button? If you play SNES roms you should know.
- On screen saving notes: For when your switching save slots, it'd be nice to know which one your on when you lose track, just a little piece of text saying your in save slot 3, or you have "SAVED SLOT 4" or whatever.
- More save slots: You can always use a few more save slots

Smurf what version of ePSXe are you using?
In the latest version(ePSXe 1.40) there is a small number and picture of your savestate location that comes up in the top left coner when you use F2 to cycle through the savestates.

A few more saveslots would be a good thing I think.

The frame increase thing is a pretty good idea, but you can already just turn off the frame lilmiter to get a boost. I guess you mean you want to be able to set a specific frame limit on the fly though. BTW this isn't up to the ePSXe team. It would be up to the GPU plugin makers to do this frame limiting thing.

Mmm ... I don't entirely agree with you there Adair. Maybe my mind is completely homework-fogged at the moment but I think that the "turbo" button he wants a la zsnes & snes9x would require the emulator enabling it along with the graphics plug-in. As for the savestate pictures, you'll need a recent version of pete's or lewpy's plug-in to use that option. Ehrm, those are the only ones with it implemented so far as I know, right?

Gerbilcannon you could be right. I'm no expert on the GPU and emu core type stuff. I mostly only know what I've read on this board. I believe you're right about Pete's and Lewpy's GPUs only displaying the savestate pics.
