What is the exact format for the SMB share? Currently I have what is below.

smbshare=SMB://guest:[email protected]/psx
smb_nameserver=

However I don't know where to put my workgroup name and the above doesn't connect to my box.

Thanks,
brakken

You set your workgroup name in My Computer>Properities>Computer Name and click change.
Um, could you give us any more info on your setup?
Thanks for the quick reply, but I'm aware of how to change my workgroup name my question was what to enter in those two lines of configuration text I entered sorry if I wasn't too clear.

Workgroup: godfather
Computer: sonic
Username: guest
Password: guest
CPU IP: 192.168.1.100
Gateway (router) IP: 192.168.1.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.000
ShareName: psx
Additionally I can access the network fine via XBMC, dashboards, etc ... Just can't figure out the right order to put the above information in.
smbshare=smb://workgorup;username:p[email protected]/share
smbshare=smb://workgorup;username:p[email protected]_address/share
smbshare=smb://username:p[email protected]:ip_address/computername/sharename
smbshare=smb://username:p[email protected]/computername/sharename
smbshare=smb://username:p[email protected]:ip_address/computername/sharename
smbshare=smb://username:p[email protected]/sharename
smbshare=smb://username:p[email protected]:ip_address/sharename
smbshare=smb://workgroup/computername/sharename
smbshare=smb://workgroup:ip_address/computername/sharename
smbshare=smb://computername/sharename
smbshare=smb://computername:ip_address/sharename

I've tried all of these with the smb nameserver empty, 192.168.1.1 (router) and 192.168.1.100. Took about 4 hrs to test and NONE OF THEM WORKED!

They should be frowns! What is this programmer on? The txt file says "these might work", what about the applications that do work? I'm a networking magor not a programmer, but if I were I'd make sure my applications work right before releasing them to prevent people like me for spending 9+ hrs straight trying to figure out how to work one simple option.

I set the XBOX IP, Subnet, Gateway all fine and I ever tried the same string that is used in XBMC. Something doesn't give!
