Windows Media Player 10

Uhhh....if you live in the past, maybe. WMP 10 has been out forever.

FLaRe is right, it's been out since before the dinasoaures(sp?). I just ever bothered to download it because I hate M$. But thanks for telling it can rip audio cds.

You've been able to rip audio cds since WMP 8.

I still prefer CDex for CD ripping. Anyways about WMP10, I do like its interface. Other than that...I don't think it offers much else that new. Btw, when's Windows Meda Audio 10 coming out?

I'd much prefer to use Winamp/Media Player Classic/AudioGrabber.

Don't use Media Player to rip CD's. It makes them all copy protected .... Use anything else buy that! I personally use either Jetaudio or Winamp

No it doesn't.

There is an option for copy protection, but i never use it. I've ripped all 500 CDs i own with WMP. All of them sound great and are not copy protected ... but it was a waste of a good weekend and my CDRW drive has (kinda) bought the farm. WinAmp sucks.

As for the "breaking news" that WMP10 has been released... you're a couple of months too late for that Mr. Jennings.

Yeah, I guess it would copy protect the files when you have the option checked.

the diferance is that u can rip them in MP3 format thats what is new

i personally prefer the mp3 format better than wma i think

In Windows Media Player 9 it is checked by default IIRC. Sorry, looks like I made a boo-boo.

Muahahaha! If you knew it was spelled wrong, you should have corrected it yourself. Anyways, I see (sp?) all the time and it's kinda irritating. No big deal though, I was just bugging you.
