Ok so I am Running windows XP and I don't know if I should get Windows 7.
I also Have AVG and don't know if i should Uninstall and Get Kasparsky.

Windows XP so far is Good but Serious Programs slowed it down and caused memmory hog due to Trojans..malwares...exe...etc so I need to download Windows 7 and need some recommendation

Is Windows 7 Quality (Appearance) that good Or worth it? Does it take too much Memory and ram? Can it give me some memory Hogs like what happens in windows XP while Trying to run a game using dolphin emulator? does it slow down my games and programs performance (some extra features and appearances)? If I Run 2 Windows on 2 Different Drives , would it cause trouble booting...etc or corruption? (I have like 2 Drivers E , and F that each of them has 100 GB Size free) is it faster than windows XP in preformence by the way? and what about the built in fire wall (in windows)?

Now for AVG Internet Seucirty and Kaspersky.
AVG was working very well (I think) and specially the build in firewall that protects me from outgoing and ingoing connection meaning when a hacker tries to connect to me , AVG will notifay me

now i am asking me does Kaspersky does more than the same thing? Does it have a Huge Virus in general Detections? Does it take too Much Memmory becuase I used it before and it did how ever i used it in 2003 but i don't know about Kaspersky 2010 Yet. I run dolphin emulator so I don't want any lag in preformence , I have a Pantium dual core @3GHZ by the way.

There won't be any difference with windows 7 in that regard.

You're going to find not much difference between win 7 and xp in these respects.

AVG used ot be alright. It's gotten pretty bloated, though, and doesn't work as well as it used to.

Never used Kaspersky though I understand it's good. I can vouch for MSE, though. It works well and runs lean.

Don't know the build number, but if you search for RTM you'll find it. Downloading windows is not illegal btw, as long as you don't bypass the licensing.

Thanks. but since i am installing another operating system , should this fix my problems? I mean Windows 7 Re-Installs all DLLS and it wasn't Really made based that The user who Installs it having another OS

its not a hardware problem (I know). I think its my Windows XP Corruption in system DLL Files.

Do you know if its safe to Run 7 and XP on 2 different Hard Disk Drivers?
I have 100GB Free space in each Driver (Except Windows XP of course its like 50 GBS Free)

There's normally no issue having 2 operating systems installed.

I'm using Kaspersky in Windows 7 64bits and no problems so far, it runs as fas as it can be . You should try Internet Security. Also there is a legal promo for getting kaspersky for 3 months

I installed one of those Transformation packs , its a program that Puts Windows 7 Looking into my Computer But it also Requires More GPU Powers , I DID Download Them and then i uninstalled them how ever some files and processes are staying on XP for some reasons (and this is why i am posting this , because i am planing to Re-Install a windows)

and i don't know what is with my internet speed , pherhaps some one is trying to hack me...

Any ways , Would any one Recommend Windows 7 Beta the Free downloadable on microsoft site? or I should work hard.. *Pirate* *COught* *Pirate*

if they are 2 Different Windows in 2 diffrent HDD drivers , doesn't that mean they won't be using same processes or start ups ... right?

you can't pirate a windows disk image, only the CD key.

You don't need two hard disk to install separate OS, learn to partition disk. Oh win 7 is faster than xp in my rig.

I think windows 7 looks way nicer, but it does use alot more ram for me. So I stick with XP. And have win 7 as optional.

I say generally win 7 is an improvement but one thing i can't get used of... the active windows are not shown down in the taskbar, and you have to alt tab or press that small icon in the taskbar to switch to diffrent windows... I don't know how to change that to normal

i have no issues running xp and windows 7 together on seprate harddrives. and im using the free comoodo suite that includes firewall and antivirus

AVG actually detected a trojan on my computer while avast couldn't See it.
plus i don't trust avast its a very small program , i don't think i detected any thing with it and Still plus that , avg has its own fire wall that asks me to block or allow incoming and outgoing connections. (See avg internet security)
