Windows 2000 Professional question.

Ok. my sister just came back from college and she brought her Windows 2000 Professional cd with her. It was already installed on her Dell laptop. Anyway, she brought it home so she could put it on our computer, but on the CD it says "For distribution with a new Dell PC only." So does that mean it can only be installed on a Dell pc? I have a hewlett packard....

piracy is bad. specially nowadays. be careful or the fbi just might get on your ass.. :eek:
anyhow, we do not officially condone piracy so plese keep these statements to a minimum.
basically, it may work but it is not suggested nor supported.
