You will need to rely heavily on speedhacks to achieve decent framerates. Even so, many games will still run poorly.

The sound isn't going to playback properly unless the game is running at full speed. 60fps NTSC or 50fps PAL.

The other thing you can try is using a different sound plugin. SPU2-X for instance has a sound stretching option that helps to eliminate missing/skippy audio.

This is my configuration:


Graphics:GSdx 890 (MSVC 15.00,SSE2) 0.1.14
Pixel Shader 2.0
Texture Filtering
Renderer:Direct 3D9
NLOOP Hack is checked
Alpha Correction is checked






Sound: SPU2-X
Interpolation: 0-Nearest (none/fast)
Disable Effects proccessing is checked
Module: XAudio 2
Disable Time checking is checked.

Thanks for the config. Now we just need the game.

Disable Time Stretching should probably be unchecked.

Hi all,

I have the same question with my laptop :

I own an HP 3510nr with the following specifications :

P7350 2.00Ghz

4GB Ram 800Mhz on Dual Channel

9300M GS 512MB

I'm running PCSX2 0.9.6 to currenly play Bloody Roar 3. FPS ~ 30. Hope anyone can let me know this where this slowness come from and if you have any tips to improve this speed. Would be appreciate if you let me know.

Nice thread hijacking skills!

CPU is slow. GPU is very weak.

You're not likely to achieve fullspeed in that game even with speedhacks.
