well, i've spent hours now juz to get dis game, and when i finally got the first cd ready, i tried to run it w/ epsxe using several different plugins and all it did was a nice little display of some brand logo, nothin' further... so does it mean wild arms 2 isnt supported by epsxe?

Yes it does, but for some reason this game requires one specific BIOS (SCPH7502, I think). And don't ask for the BIOS here, you'll need to find it for yourself.

Good luck

Hello everyone.
I just want to say good luck in playing Wild Arms 2. I've finished it already using VGS 1.41 (with certain patch), and I've tried it using ePSXe. It works well in ePSXe, but for some reason, I prefered VGS because the speed seem faster than ePSXe when playing the game. I don't know how to improve my ePSXe performance, because some game run best with ePSXe, while others aren't. That's is just my opinion.

Badaro, you are one-hundred per cent right about the bios. I have all the bioes as well and 7502 was the only one that would run this particular game. The other bioses wouldn't even budge it past the Media Vision screen. I believe that I posted about this some time ago on the old board.
lizardj, I still have my screen shots from the game if you would like to see them. Bobbi liked one of them so well that he posted it on the front page of, what was then, PSXEmu.com Maybe I'll dig them out and post them again.
sincerely,
sx/amiga
