WHY DOESN'T ePSXe 1.4 WORK WITH WINDOWS XP?!??!?!?!

I have Windows XP Pro and ePSXe doesn't work with it. Is anyone else having these type of problems? Is there a patch or something that I need to get? Thanks for your help!!!! :)

Do you know a decent, complete, stable and reliable PSX emulator running on LInux and with more features than ePSXE ? ;)
