I used to use epsxe a few months ago but my comp crashed and i never reinstalled it until now. Well I wanted to play Star Ocean2 so I reinstalled it. I used to have it work fine and everything was cool. But now after I reinstalled it my stupid save states don't work! :( mega uncool. I did everything I could think of, my memory cards work fine, i can save on them perfectly. I just can't use save states. The save states worked for me back in the day but now they don't. Anyone know why and can you help me out? Thanks in advance. I don't think its a setup problem, but just incase here are my settings.

Do you have a sstates subfolder in your epsxe folder? If it's not there, create it and try again. Make sure it's not read only too.

Ah, thank you that was it. I had a folder called "Save States" and a folder called "savestates". I didn't know it had to be labeled "sstates". There really should be a browse option where you can choose a folder to hold your save states or something. Sorry for the stupid question, and thanks for the reply.
