I haven't seen as many animes as some of the others here but from the ones I've seen I'd have to go with Narusegawa Naru (Love Hina), Herikawa Koichi (Onegai Teacher), and Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop).

I liked Kitsune's personality better. A slacker who's way too curious, and big mouth small heart type She's actually much nicer than Naru is (Naru looks all cute and stuff but man, difficult difficult :???: )
