I want full Speed on dolphin Emulator.
So Please Tell me one Processor fast , some thing that doesn't give me Expected delays during New games (and in-game play) and the processor price must between 400-200 also tell me how much GHZ.

also I am planing For Re-installing or installing new Windows.
XP or Vista or Windows 7. (Just don't Tell me Windows7 or Vista if they might be too Expensive)... I heard that Vista can be too laggy (some people say other wise) but I don't know about Windows 7...

(My previous was XP)

Thanks.

I will check windows7 price then if its not too expensive , Thanks Bigig.
also Thanks Kaizen for the e8400 suggestion. I heard its Full Speed with most of the games on dolphin lets just hope it works on my mother board... any suggestions? would overclocking make it perfect speed in all games Or its enough to buy one that has only 2 GB? maybe to 4.5 or 4.3 GHZ?

would 4.5GHZ guarantee full speed?
I might actually buy a new mother board

If thats the case win 7 is definetly to expensive vista blows hardcore so go with win xp with the service packs.

its not the only case tho. i want to get best performance at emulation and no expected slow downs.

I will see what i have from the Computer Shop that is if their is actually a better way to find out what my mother board is.

no its not the only case tho. i want to get more performance at emulation and no expected slow down so i am also asking for processors.

Thanks for the answer.

So, go with the e8400 the only thing is its going to be hard to only spend 5 to 600 bucks if you have to build from scratch and get full emulation speeds in such emulators.I just bought the same processor and I started from scratch and in the end I will be spending about $850 or so,but I also went with a better gpu card then I would need but you cant shave much more off elsewhere besides maybe on the gpu and mobo.If I am correct these emulators rely heavily on your systems core speed rather then gpu speed so that is why you might be able to get away with a lesser gpu.

its not the only case tho. i want to get best performance at emulation and no expected slow downs.

google cpuz go to the site and download it run it after it is done click on the mainboard tab and read what it says, you can actually stay on cpu tab to and it will tell you your socket.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is the 2nd time you've made such a thread oO

And the answer still is:
E8400: Cheap, powerful, OC's to 4GHz regularly
E8600: More pricy, but OC's to 4.5GHz provided the board is good enough.

omg its LGA775 -_- *Sniff*
Just because it's physically capable of accommodating an E8400 doesn't mean it will (gonig by that logic as 845 chipset can run an E8600 but that ain't gonna happen). Use Google to find out which CPUs are supported by your mobo.

looks like it worked for some one... i mean the same mother board i have:

Overclock'd Review! Core 2 Duo E8400 [LGA775] @ 4.05GHz - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

and what do you mean just becuase its capable doesn't mean it will? lol

EDIT: Lets hope my Cpu doesn't crash

You're not going to get 4.5ghz.

4Ghz yeah, and that's enough for games and emulators.

No offense but you lack the skill and experience to achieve such an overclock at a stable level.

4.5 would require careful stress testing, a good motherboard and a carefully planned watercooling system or a double fan clipped cpu heatsink like a thermalright ultra extreme with a few loons or such.

I meant just because it's the same socket doesn't meant the CPU will run.

When you say "same mother board" do you mean you have the BIOSTAR GF7100P-M7S mentioned there?

lol why say no offense.
i really don't know much about Harddisks. since I Started knowing about Emulation , I started Caring about Upgrading.
EDIT: Btw I have a graphic card Geforce9500... [Don't call me Stupid please if that is not Really related lol)

I have 4 GB of Ram btw.

EDIT2: Kaizan , is 4 GB Enough to give me un Expected Slow down on dolphin [I.E: Full speed with sound no lag]?

uhh....overclocking CPUs has absolutely nothing to do with hard-disks whatsoever.

You're gonna need to do some SERIOUS researching and learning before you jump into this overclocking business or you're gonna mess up something for sure.
