I'm going to play lunar SSSC. Which emulator is best?

ePSXe has problems with the screen going black when you go the the menu and FPSE doesn't play the movies with the right colors. So use FPSE to play the game, save when there is going to be a movie ( you can usually guess when ones coming ) and load and watch it in ePSXe.

i agree

i only played lunar silver star story complete for a short while on vgs
it was sweeett
but it doesnt compare to playin it on the orginal psx system

Its a real :smash: hit rpg

VGS is perfect

Hello everyone.
I've already finished Lunar Silver Star Story Complete about two weeks ago. For that game, I used VGS 1.41, and it runs perfectly without any problem. So I think VGS can emulate this game perfectly. Thank you.

I don't think there were any problems with this game in ePSXe 1.2.0, you could try that one.

Almost none. The only other I remember is Persona 2 - Eternal Punishment. It crashes at dialogs on ePSXe 1.4.0 but works on the older one.

Moogle clan, the new version of ePSXe just might fix the problem. Compatability is improved.

I read in another thread that some people were running Lunar: SSSC without problems using ePSXe 1.4.0 and NextGL/Next3D.

Here's the thread: Lunar 1, problems (unsure if it's fixable).

personal preference

my personal preference for lunar and lunar 2 sre to use
connectix vgs to play them
movies sound nice and so do the voice overs graphics are superb
any further comments might be helpful for people that want to know what is the better emu for this series of games
but nothing can compete to playing it on the original psx
