for GPU i'm using Pete's D3D driver 1.54
but which plugin should i use for CDR?

my PC stats:

Intel celeron, ~MMX, ~468MHz
64MB RAM
SoundMAX Digital Audio
ATAPI CDROM.48X
DirectX 8.0
Windows 98
(i know i have to upgrade my PC, but i have no money:( )

Pete's plugin is great, so is the internal. But if you really want a speed up, you'll have to make an ISO. That's the fastest.

pete's CDR 1.7

it has:
Real time Patching features
CD drive Speed limiter
and Scratch CD retry

and is compatible with 9x/2000&XP
be sure to read the doc's there are some SPU settings you'll need to do if your using windows 2000&XP.

There are more differences than speed. Sometimes a game that works with one plugin may not work with another.

kingking 3rd: Yeah, I use the TSG MSCDEX plugin too. I find it works almost as good as ISO's - with Pete's, I seem to get a lot of stuttering with some games.
