Battles? World Map? Summons? Drawing Magic? Or are there certain areas where the game just freezes?

Please post them here asap as I'm trying to find a configuration in which everything runs fine.

Until now everything does :)

Regular Summon Speed, No black patches when on the world map, No flickering interface during battle, Smooth Swirl :D No problems found until now~

One thing I'd recommend you to do is set your VRAM size manually. ATi's drivers reportedly don't work as well with the method the plug-in uses to auto-detect the amount, so leaving it as you have it could introduce lag or stuttering (though you don't sound to be experiencing it). I'd still set it just to be safe, as it's been reported by many ATi users mentioning problems until setting it manually suddenly fixed it.

The Black triangle issue was, once again, a problem limited only to ATi hardware, their drivers again specifically. They have fixed their broken OpenGL in recent drivers, so that problem is only on drivers that fit between a certain range.

Both those things are related to ATi, not the game.
