When I want to load a game i only see a black sreen

Hi!

I have dowloaded all the stuff I need (bios and plugins) and know I wanted to play a ps2 game. I just made a image of it and then I klicked on FILE - RUN CD, then I selected the image and pressed ok. And then there was just a black screen. What can I do to fix that????

Hmmm... I don't know what your problem is...

Works fine for me, here. I just insert the CD/DVD and the game plays.

Would you please post your system specs?

Sorry that is an incorrect answer to his question.....

The correct answer is:

Go read the fekkin' rules, they will tell you:

1. Downloading a bios is illegal
2. By doing so we won't provide you any help
3. You should post in the right forum, meaning the PS2 help forum
4. If you would have done that you would have seen some STICKY threads which are trying to make clear PS2 emulation is far from perfect, so you better live with the black screen on your pc, or get yourself a nice PS2.

Whoops, sorry, that wasn't very nice...

The only thing you can do is dump the bios from your own PS2, don't ask me how to do it, perhaps some other ppl here know.

The best thing to do is head over to the PS2 emu section and ask how to dump your own bios. Better not ask where to get it, otherwise you're thread will be locked.

Perhaps you should read my whole post?

I think you missed the part where I explained that PS2 emulation is far from perfect so most games won't run, or won't run well.

So why don't you chill out a bit and start searching the forums for more info. (perhaps searching for info on the game you want to run)

Hmmm now where do I start....

1. This thread is posted in the wrong forum.
2. If you had went to the right forum you would have plainly seen a message explaining that ps2 emus are still in development and are years from being fully functional. Thus this little misunderstanding would not have taken place.
3. F-3832 mistook your post. He was under the impression that you meant PSX not PS2. An easy mistake to make given it's in the wrong forum, so he's not at fault. However it deserves meantioning as it is a perfect example as to why we are very strict regarding posting in the correct places.
4. osamazarraa, bios requests are prohibited on this forum. Please read our [rules] rules [/rules] before making any more posts.
5. Zet please refrain from flaming on this forum.
