It's been quite a few years since I have been following the PSX Emu scene, but I thought it might be time to dust off my games and slap them in the ole PC, if there was anything nice going on. I just checked out a few sites and saw that the software out there for some of these has not been touched in 2 years, and looked pretty dead as a project.

Well lets face it with PSX2 out no wonder, but I was hoping someone might be keeping the developement of some PSX emulators, can anyone tell me if so and what is a good PSX emu now at this point in time if any?

Thanks

Oh WOW I just noticed my profile:

ePSXe, PSXeven, SSSPSX, and PCSX are all excellent. you wont be disappointed with any of em....unless you're hoping for too much. which you shouldnt do, come on, its free software.

Provided you are willing to put in the time, you can't go wrong with ePSXe.

However if you jsut want to stick your disc in the drive and play a game, then CVGS still has a place, even in todays emulator scene.
