I usually hang out on the pcsx2 , and now I woke up and had this e-mail on my gmail account:

i dont have a ps2.. my problem is ps2 bios.. i dont know where to get the bios.. will you please send me a ps2 bios that work at pcsx2... you are the only person that can help me.. plssss... thanks

Nah, I don't think it was that adress. I don't have the email anymore, but I searched in gmail's contact list (appears he saves a new contact every time you mail to someone) and that adress wasn't there...

It's a pain in the ass sometimes, but I can understand why they ask. I know the frustration of looking for files that are illegal. But, in any case, pestering people is a big no-no, and no matter how bad I wanted something, I wouldn't do that.

Why bother spending two minutes when you could spend hours mailing random people? The world may never know. I used to get mails like this, but then I got smart and didn't check any mails attached to my forum accounts. No more spam. Except for the usual ones...sigh.

Back when I was new to the emulation/soundtrack downloading, half the fun was actually in finding the sites myself. It was actually a good challenge. Finding the FF6 OSV was my crowning glory.

BTW, nowadays I buy all my CDs and games. Some people grow up, other people ... just aren't like me. *imagines himself in a mirror reality as a person sending st00pid requests to Portugese emulation channels.*

Good ol' times... you made me remind when I was younger, 5 or 6 years ago, I used to take A LOT of time to find a specific game... now, people want sites with hundreds of roms, but back then it was quite good when you could find any sites with some (and I mean, from 5 to 20) roms and in which all the links weren't broken.

Plus, here in portugal our best download speed was around 3~5 kb/s...

By the way, do you know of any place where I can download Playstation roms?
