Thanksgiving is primarily for the US, but most of us have many things to be thankful for, so why don't we share what we are thankful for?

I'm thankful for many things.

The fact a sinner like me can be saved by Jesus.

That I have food, clothing, and shelter.

My girlfriend and life partner Charline, my friends, family, and loved ones from around the world.

That I can communicate with people who share the same interests from around the world.

That emulation exists, that C64 disks can be preserved, and other games can be ripped / dumped.

Oh yeah, the annual let's not remember that we already killed most of the native americans in here so we changed the meaning of the celebration event. The only difference is that since I'm in the states I get to eat turkey. yay.

I'm thankful for the Spain victory in the Eurocup, for videogames, for Ngemu, for the woman, for these TV channels which had been transmiting these cartoon series when I was a child, etc.

My reasons for being thankful:

1) I still have a job (my company cut 25% of its workforce this year - I survived).
2) For my good health (although I did catch the flu I'm now completely over it:)).
3) That the US stock markets are not open today:rolleyes:

I'm thankful for mods who merge dup threads.
Celebrating Thankgiving is a "yank" thing, being thankful should be global.

I'm thankful I'm not going out into that madness tomorrow! :innocent:

Thanksgiving is the celebration of the murder and destruction of the native americans.

Americans should be ashamed.

Yes, the aborigines were treated so well in Australia?

Every nation has blood on its hands.

Are you thankful for something? :innocent:

This isn't the turkey thread, it's about what you're thankful for... oO

Like being able to troll a thread about being thankful for something! :p
