While playing FF7 and Symphony of the Night everything is running fine but every minute or so the sound will become all garbled and staticy for 2-3 seconds and then return to normal.

Any ideas on what would be causing this?

Its happening at timed intervals, not when things happen in the games. I could be standing there, moving, fighting a boss, watching a cutscene, it doesn't matter. The sound just gets garbled/static like

I tried going to configre the audio settings but it said "These settings do not need to be configured"

I tried setting video settings to Fastest, and same problem

Ya I am at a loss here. It seems to run fine on my PC but on my laptop it keeps garbling up the sound at regular intervals =/

Ok I switched to the Eternal Plugin 1.41

It seems to have stopped making the sound static like at intervals... except now there is an annoying buzzing sound constantly

Ok strangly enough after i got out of that battle i had save stated in the buzzing sound went away?? I am so confused now lol.

Also the game seems to run better now?? Like battles dont just fade to black, you actually see the swirly effect as you fade into the battle
