I have a weird problem on two of my computers. Running an installer for a game will cause the ram usage to shoot up to 99%. It does this on both Vista and 77, and ive had it for years and can never figure it out. The ram wont be restored until after i to a system restart. Anyone have any ideas?

you might wanna check your memory, i had recurring memory leaks in dvd rippers, setup files, archives... when my DDR went bad.

no whenever i install a game. 40% of the time it doesnt though, but a game installer that does it, always does it.

game installers have to unpack ALOT of data, the decompression library might be massive.
