I just sold a cam to a friend, but right after i got home, he complained about the quality, and i said: "you got what you paid for...", and explained him, for that price, it couldnt be better.

Enough of this story, now the real question:
Does it matter the manufacturer, or all cams with the same resolution will look the same?
This is the one he got:
WebCam Genius VideoCam NB 100 USB
100KPixels
352 x 288 / 30 fps

Ill put here a list, and can you tell me which one is the best? I really dont know anything about it...

WebCam Genius VideoCam Wed 4 USB
300KPixels
640 x 480 / 15 fps

WebCam Creative Instant 2L SP

30 fps @ QQVGA (160x120)
30 fps @ QVGA (320x240)
30 fps @ VGA (352x288)

WebCam D-Link DSB-C310
