did you notice they were playing the "independance day" theme in the background... sounded so triumphant.

Well, when it comes to innovation or weird science the Japanese wins on that regard. We should all remember the portable tissue holder on top of the persons head.

that wasn't innovation or weird science.. it was another "jackass" like series they got running in japan. Japanese television is responsible for alot of stupid TV in the states.. including reality TV, jackass tv, and the only good one "iron chef"

Yea, that's just a bunch of high-school level science expirements tied together.. we did the water-powered bottle rocket **** when I was younger, fun stuff.

i dont think it could actual lift a human + the weight of the bottles + the net + the water still in the bottles during takeoff. seems a bit fake to me.

Actuaily it is possible with enough bottles

well i dont feel like calculating the physics behind it but im still a bit skeptical

True enough, but the problem comes in when you try to concentrate the energy that is built up in the bottles. If you cant, then its just a bunch of water spraying everywhere

ya but that guy went wayyyyyy to far for just that small amount of water+weight. and the resolution was so bad i couldnt tell if it was a dummy or the real thing even flying through the air. very easy video to fake im sure.

which iron chef are you talking about. USA or Japn. The USA version sucks. The only thing that annoys me about the japanese version is i've never seen a even match. The challenger, usually a master japanese chef, NEVER chooses Iron Chef Japanese.. The only time i see the iron chef japanese get choosen is when they get a guy whos a master of some form of european cooking.. But in that case you'll never see iron chef french get chosen.

What are you talking about? The Iron Chefs lost so much in the last season that the show ended up getting canceled(Hence, why it was the last season).
