Just got back from this movie and despite not reading the books, it was a very entertaining movie. I did enjoy how they kept the original concepts for the spaceships and other things, but the aliens themselves looked a bit goofy. Aside from the ending i am very pleased with the movie and for ONCE they finally did an H.G. Wells book decently. *cough* stupid time machine *cough*

Good summer movie. I highly recomended. Is nice to see a movie of alien invasions not seeing new york being blown or having the main characters being scientist and politicians.

well you definately aren't a fan of H.G. Wells then , because the time machine skewed the story into some effed up tangent.
