is there anyway i can trade pokemon or connect with my friends?

No, because this emu doesn't have enough Wi-Fi to trade Pokémon or connect. :(
None of the 3 DS emus have enough Wi-Fi to bypass the confirmation of Wi-Fi (in the Continue/New Game screen) of Pokémon Pearl/Diamond/Platinum. :D
