I wanted to get a mod/user opinion on this before i did it(didnt see other closely realted topics besides desktop thread) But lately i have been making a lot of 1024x768 wallpapers in photoshop, and would like to post them get user opinions on what to do to them, make them better even just let people download them. And let other users post theres too.

Would it be a problem? or point me in the right direction...

Step # 1 in making any wallpaper better: Make it in 1920x1200. It's easy to crop and downscale. It's not so pretty to stretch out a 1024x768 image.

Seconded, I'll be looking forward to nice wallpapers. Especially since with Windows 7 I can be lazy and just add new ones into the mix, I'm always looking for good stuff

Ill keep that in mind for the ones i make later tonight. I was just doin 1024 because my mothers computer is only at 1024 so it made it easier to work on. Once i get my pc back ill be happy.

Er, it's not an actual thread or link for that matter. I just colored it as such. You or someone else would need to create it.

Thirded. You can always scale down, but you can't add detail that isn't there.
