Wallpaper changing trouble!Help!

OK, to the truth, I don't even know when how long the problem of changing wallpaper started on my computer until yesterday. The problem is that when I go to the 'Display Properties --->Desktop' and choose browse, I notice that I can't choose JPEG pictures :( . Note that I still can choose BITMAP pictures. Usually in the past, I can choose both of them. So, are there any method to recover my problem, please inform me! Thanks in advance.

what's your OS?? on my current win NT at work I also can't choose jpg wallpapers :)
Well, I am using Window XP Professional Service Pack 2.
I think you have disabled Active Desktop. Without it, you can only choose BMP images as wallpapers. Enable it again and everything should work fine.
You could just try finding the file you want as your wallpaper, then righ-clicking on it and clicking 'set as my desktop wallpaper'
OH, I see. I true that I had disable 'active desktop' a few month ago. After I enable it, all work fine again. Thanks for the advice!!!
