Hey, I have seen all sorts of talk of the visualboy/pokemon problem but I cannot find for the life of me how to fix this on ubuntuoO

So here it is: Ive got visualboy 1.8 running on Ubuntu 8.10 and I cannot get the internal clock to work on Pokemon Sapphire, it just comes up at the beginning with an error message saying that "the internal battery has run dry" and "time-based events wont work"

Which is a pain because the stuff I really want to do involve time-based events.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

This should be moved to VisualBoyAdvance discussion.
Go to "Options"->"Emulation"-> and mark the "Real time clock" option.
Next time, you should post in right subforums.

this error is unrelated to the clock, the save size must be set to 128K

a mod will move it soon.

open the save type menu, and set it to 128K and check the gameboy menu for the RTC setting.
