My computer jusat messed up. I was viewing the forums when all of a sudden my screen screwed up it started looking like a TV with no aerial in it (all fuzzy). I hard reseted my system and it seems ok now im backing up data then U'm gonna find a virus checker since i dont have one yet.

I wouldnt think a monitor should ever have a display like that even if the card is busted so do you think this is a problem with my graphics card of my monitor or a virus

>>if your comp has integrated gfx take out the agp or pci card and then see if that will happen again.

it does but since the problem hasnt occured again (yet) I dont think it would really prove anything. I forgot to mention though, last week my monitor went completely blank as if it were turned off however it was not as the LED was still on and not blinking like it does when it is on standbye. that also souns like a monitor problem but could also be the graphics card so I dunno

I dunno who to believe :( my graphics card (saphire 9600) has no fan either so that could be the problem but then again my monitor does make clicking sounds now and then but it has done this since i got it a year ago :/
