Videos quit and games like to quit

When I first was using ePSXe everything was fine. Then the fmvs messed up then they stopped playing all together (just sound left) and also i get an error after about 10 minutes of play now any suggestions would be appreciated.
My PC specs (note its worked fine b4)
AMD K6-2 533mhz
128mb RAM
32mb PCI TNT2 M64
WinXP
Petes plugin 1.53 (always have used this)
i have messed with the settings to try to rectify this but to no avail.
