VBALink 1.7.2L has been released. This unofficial release of VBA allows four GBAs to be linked together! Here's what the author, Denopqrihg has to say about this release:
 • The first GBA emulator with link, no$gba, is released for free. But have you never wanted to trade between Ruby and Sapphire, or even between Sapphire and Leaf Green? Now it's possible! VBALink is a normal Visualboy Advance 1.6a for Windows, but it supports up to four* GBAs linked together! Of course it's free (even opensource), so get it, try it, and spread it to whomever might want it.

Here's the log of changes:

 • Improved LAN linking

 • Fixed link problems in some games (FFTA, Super Mario)

 • Built-in server

I had no speed issues on the older version, and mostlikely wont have any in the newer version.
