WTF? A card like that under the hood and you are using D3D?
Your best bet is to use Pete's OpenGL2. We can't give you the exact settings off the top of our head, but if you tweak around it should work fine.
Also...if you don't want to dabble to much with settings, and don't mind the emphasis on 3D then use P.E.Ops Soft
