Some things in the game do not display at all (such as when the turn changes, or the amount of gold I have.) I have tried every plugin with every setting I can think of and it still won't work right. I have even tried using different emulators. So frankly I am out of ideas. Here are my current settings and a screenshot. System specs are in sig.

WTF? A card like that under the hood and you are using D3D?
Your best bet is to use Pete's OpenGL2. We can't give you the exact settings off the top of our head, but if you tweak around it should work fine.

Also...if you don't want to dabble to much with settings, and don't mind the emphasis on 3D then use P.E.Ops Soft

D3D has problems showing stuff sometimes. like DW said, use Peops or OGL2.

Normally I use OGL2. But I was using D3D to test different configs as my bro also wants to play it, and his card is a Geforce 4 MX. OGL2 and Peops have this same problem.

try a different emulator? turn off the filtering settings and change the color settings that could do it. in other words, press the Nice preset.

I have tried PSxeven, PCSX, and Adripsx also, none of which fix this problem. Changing the settings to the nice preset was a good suggestion, but all that does is make all of the ingame mdecs disappear (the audio part still plays though). I suppose its possible my copy of the game is messed up, but why would it only affect those small things that I mentioned in my first post?
