Okay I'm having a problem that at a certain point in the game it just freezes.
It freeze at the point where only two character talking to each other and then the audio begins to choke lightly to heavily then no audio. After that it just freezes. I've tried various plugin and setting but this just doesn't kick the bucket. In the past I've managed to go through the game by adjusting my plugin setting and moved on.

Use the forum search function on the PSX emulation forums and enter keyword "Valkyrie". You'll find that lots of other folks have had a similar problem - and you'll find out how they fixed it.

You could also run through the advice in the troubleshooting thread, which is a sticky at the top of this forum.
