Alright, so I've just recently gotten pec to use for FFVII (to speed up leveling up materia and the like), and I'm wondering how exactly to use this thing? I don't know if I have to run it before I start the emulator then activate it somehow, or what? ^^;;

Well, I did read that before, but the issue I'm having is that those already in pec don't work properly (I do have them checked, like the AP Modifier After Battle code for FF7 for instance), but that doesn't work at all (dunno why....I'm assuming I DO have to input the actual code for it like it says in the topic right?). Sorry if this isn't exactly a good question to ask. I'm just....yeah...^^;;

After you start the game, hit ctrl+g to fire up PEC. Select the codes you want and see if they work (usually immediate, sometimes you've got to leave the screen first).

If you're still having problems:
- PAL / NTSC-J game, the codes might not work.

- NTSC-U, edit codelist.inf and try adding the ones you want from this list (only a few aren't tested):

Alright. Managed to get it working. Now, even though this isn't for PEC per say, I'm playing Final Fantasy 8 right now, and well...having issues with it. Like....leaving a town or something to the world map, the screen transition is funky....that, and entering/winning battles, the screen changes abruptly. Is there a special game fix that I'm supposed to be using for the game in order to fix that or....???
