ok i am wondering how you are able to use 2 gamepads at one time on the same cpu (like playing against someone on a emulator) i know their has to be a way to do it cause you can add more than one controller in the control panel.i have one that connects to usb and the other the standard gameport but it only detects the usb controller. (btw i already tried restarting it didnt help) any help will be appreciated

The usb is plug n play and the other isn t. That s why the comp doesn t detect it.

Go to configuration pannel>Gaming options>then click on "add"
choose ur joypad type (if u have for example a 6 butons joypad then select this type...).

To calibrate and check if it works, click properies and do as it s shown.
Hope that ll help.

Bye

the one that cant be detected is a generic 4-button gamepad.it does work though because i was using it before i got my new gravis gamepad. so they should both work but they dont.

sorry for double-post but forgot to add something. the manuals didnt have any answers that might work and when i try to change the id of either gamepad it says this destination is occupied.

Disconnect the new gamepad (the gravis) and try to do as I said before W/ ur "old" gamepad. It should work if it worked b4.
Then, change the controller id of the old to "2" or another number but not the first.
Then install ur new gravis pad (since it s usb there should be no pb.) and put the gravis ' id to "1"

See ya
