It seems(to me) every new console is coming out is just a super-powered PC, dedicated to gaming(Especially the 360, it even runs on Windows).

Just my random thoughts, but, to be honest I think itd almost be easier to emu a PS2 on the 360, or emu the Xbox on the PS3. Everyone would be using the same hard, so testing would be easy. A 360 could certainly run the games better than most peoples computers with 3 intels and 512mb ddr3.

Iunno, just what happened to be floating in my mind for a while. With making a working PS2 emulator being such a hard and long process, I just thought maybe starting some kind of cross-console(360 emulation ps2, ps3 emulation xbox) project would almsot be easier. Once people figure out how to unlock the 360 and make it function just like a normal PC, with Windows already on it, you could probably just run PSCX2 straight off the 360 without any changes?

well, the 360 hw afaik is quite different from a regular pc (unlike the first xbox)....
emulators on consoles have been a reality for some time though; many classic consoles are emulated on newer systems.

altho the 360 may run windows, its a specialised version, the processor is a RISC power PC, so it doesnt run like a normal x86 chip at all ;)
