I know the problems with NO$GBA, WinDS PRO and Final Fantasy IV DS are well documented, but I have a tech. issue that just dosen't make sense.
I'm using NO$GBA (Verision 2.6) and NO$ZOOMER (Verision 2.3.0.1) it seems to work fine with most of my roms...except FFIV, I've been getting the same text-sticking problem that makes the game unplayable. I downloaded NO$PMP and NO$WTT (both version 3.6, I think), but they wouldn't pick up on the rom.
In order to try a workaround, I downloaded WinDS PRO (Version 2.3.1) in hopes the built-in NO$PMP and NO$WTT would work...and they do....but, for some unknown reason, the game is in Spanish...but the rom is in English, and when run in regular NO$GBA et al, it's in English. I've tried adjusting every setting, but it's just in Spanish.
I've searched the forums, but no other topic is on point. Likewise, I've tried re-downloading everything, but no dice. Can anyone help me figure out why its in Spanish instead of English, and how to fix it? And I'm not a huge tech-head, so K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple for Stupid).
And FYI, I own the game, DS et al., but I find it a lot more enjoyable to be able to see the screen instead of squint at it for hours on end.
