I read that ccd files should be supported so why I get this error when I try to open the ccd file instead of just booting the game?

I even tried a stable Mednafen but still the same error pops up instead of booting the game.

Other PSX emulators that I tried have no problem booting and playing this game.

Some of them are DuckStation, PCSX-Redux, Xebra, pSXfin 1.13, NO$PSX and even BizHawk

I'd just recommend dumping the game in cue/bin format it's the most preferred and supported format for CD based systems.

As for the issue itself maybe medafen doesn't fully support CCDA format when it comes to games that use many tracks with subchannels the error states a issue with too large subchannel, does your game have even the sub file? If it's a pal copy of TR then there's the issue of libcryot support and do you have the SBI File thou I'm not sure If TR pal uses libcrypt.

I do have the sub file but no any SBI and if what you are saying to me is really true and Mednafen currently doesn't support the CCDA of this game then I must use a different PlayStation emulator to play this game or redump the disc again in cue/bin format as you suggest.

Thank you for your reply.

Why can't you just dump the game into cue/bin format?
Honestly this issue could be just a case of a bad/corrupted dump that other emulators ignore or don't notice.

Do you mean that the other PlayStation emulators will crash in the middle if I will play this game with these files and these emulators? If that so then I better redump the disc then.

They could crash in the middle, the soundtrack could simply not play this is the most common issue with bad ps1 dumps game plays but there's no music.
Different emulators handle issues differently, ePSXe has even implement a hack that sorta fixes dumps with bad cue sheets
Duckstation has a nice feature to verify dumps.

I didn't know about this at all. Thank you very much! I better verify these files before I decide to play them at all.

I computed the hash of these game files with DuckStation and DuckStation colors the computed hash in red and draws a red cross in the status column. I guess that this means that it is not recommended to play these files at all and I should delete them all and redump the disc again.

Am I correct?

Yup red crosses mean that the dump is bad, like in the video you want green checkmarks.
Only exception to that would be if you're playing a modded game or a prototype, Duckstation compares the hash of your dump with it's database of ps1 game hashes.

And if the game files don't pass DuckStation test then Mednafen won't let me play these files at all? I think that the Tomb Raider that I got is not broken but a modded game and this is the reason that the game files don't pass DuckStation test at all.

Can't really say as I don't use medafen myself, but it's more likely that the mod broke something with the dump, Duckstation just compares the hashes to that from a valid non modded version , so Duckstation verification could fail but there could be nothing wrong with the dump, like if you're playing a patched game with a translation the verification will fail then but there could be nothing wrong with the dump.
Medafen could be doing some checks on the dump that other emulators don't they just play whatever you throw them and crash midway or have bugs.
Could be that the mod simply doesn't work with medafen I recall there being some mods that don't work with some emulators like ePSXe.

From what I understand Mednafen won't let me play modded games. To play modded games I must use a different emulator then. Thank you for your replies. They were very helpful for me!
