i've read some posts referring to "detonators", and that the term is somehow connected to video cards, so.....

what are "detonators" exactly? are they drivers?

The latest Detonator Diver Betas are the 14.40s. You can get them at www.3Dchipset.com. They say that they work w/all Nvidia cards, but they seem best suited to the GEForce series of cards.

i guess you can tell from my post that i don't have an nvidia card. i just use an old, but reliable * meg agp card. forgot who made it though.

Sure, but that usually has a negative result with nVidia cards.

The latest leaked Detonator Driver betas are the 14.61s. Give either www.3dchipset.com or www.m3dzone.com a look see to find them. If you are interested, that is. I got them last night, installed them and they work perfectly well for me. Pretty much the same performance as the 14.40s had.
