Ok, I've been using Fedora and the like for a while now and I've heard good things about Ubuntu so I thought I'd give it a try, and I"m LOVING it so far. My only gripe is I've recently downloaded a program both a .TGZ and a .Debian, just to make sure. But they do not install in any sort of way. I got it from bittorent so its not like I can use apt-get to install it or can I?
