Here are my problems...

Using your wonderful forum, I managed to fix s video plugin and audio plugin problem I was having only to run smack into a "WGL" problem. Here are my specs:

Plugin: Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.7
Author: Pete Bernert
Card vendor: S3 Graphics
GFX card: VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP/MMX/K3D

Resolution/Color:
- 800x600 Fullscreen - NO desktop changing
- Internal X resolution: 1
- Internal Y resolution: 1
- Keep psx aspect ratio: off
- No render-to-texture: off

- Filtering: 0
- Hi-Res textures: 0
- TexWin pixel shader: off
- VRam size: 0 MBytes

Framerate:
- FPS limitation: off
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: 200.0

Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 1
- Framebuffer effects: 2
- Framebuffer uploads: 1

Misc:
- Scanlines: off
- Mdec filter: off
- Screen filtering: off
- Shader effects: 0/1
- Flicker-fix border size: 0
- GF4/XP crash fix: off
- Game fixes: off [00000000]

Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.

Problem #2: I tried to manually configure my joystick to work on the EPXSE, and I failed. I checked your great forum area, and even though I found that plugin that adds numerous joytick manufacturers to the list of compatible joyticks, my joystick still is incompatible with the EPXSE. I tried clicking in each area (slot) I wanted "configured" but it reverts automatically to the original setting.

Please help me with this, as I am new to this EPXSE emulator stuff..

For your first problem, use either Pete's OpenGL or D3D plugins. You won't be able to run the OpenGL2 plugin with that video card. Also, when you switch plugins, check the FPS limitation box and set the FPS limit to auto.

Ok, I don't have the best video card...(tell me something I DON'T know)

However, I have a new problem now. Everytime I try to run a game from the CD, nothing happens. No go. black screen shows up, that's it.

Once again, here are my specs:

Plugin: P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.1.17
Author: Pete Bernert and the P.E.Op.S. team

Resolution/Color:
- 640x480 Window mode
Stretch mode: 1
Dither mode: 0

Framerate:
- FPS limit: on
- Frame skipping: on
- FPS limit: Auto

Misc:
- Scanlines: disabled
- Game fixes: off [00000000]

any help would be greatly appreciated.

my graphics card isn't much better, and I find that pete's D3D driver works fine, but if that fails, you should take hush's advice and use pete's soft
