Heya... kinda new to this whole PSX emulation deal, so bear with me please. I know a good deal about computers and such, but I just got ePSXe today... :D

1) In FF9, during battle scenes, you can't see any text on the "actions" menu. You can see the finger pointing to the options, but there is no option text. Any suggestions? Running Lewpy's Glide driver, DX7, Monster 3D II.
UPDATE: Pete's OpenGL driver accurately displays the battle menu, however the window is chopped and only displays about 80% of the screen.
UPDATE: Put it in a different resolution so it fills the screen - but now FMV sequences are slow, choppy, and all-around ugly.

2) How do you do savestates? I do the whole savestate routine (press ESC, Run > Save state > Slot 1), but then I can't load them. What gives?

1) I think you need to enable Experimental Flipping in Lewpy's plugin to get the battle menu to show!

2) Make sure you have a "sstates" subfolder in ePSXe, also you could use the hotkeys which make it quicker and easier.. F1 to Save a State, F2 to change the slot, and F3 to Load the State (all whilst playing) :)
