ok so was looking to try this emu out but everytime i start it wiht twin pad 0.8 the emu crashes with no errors just shuts down. now if i use any other plugin besides twin pad the games work perfect . I have tried suikoden 3 ,persona 3 fes, and persona 4 they are work perfect with any plugins except twin pad. So i cant get past the title screens for anygame because i dont have a controller. Seems like a weird problem and i can't find anyone else having this problem. I used the 4mb 0.9.6 download the self installer version. I have a logictech wirless keyboard and mouse if that matters
system: Amd 64x2 5400 black editon windows xp pro x86
ati 3870 hd overclocked editon gddr4 512mb
4 gigs of ddr2

Trying this now dowloading visual 2008 runtime and i already have the latest direct x unless i not understanding what u meant
Update: downloaded this stuff and still no change

twin pad still not working ok....More details ok start the emu it loads up i mount my game then start it starts to load but instantly closes the program no errors says nothing about a problem, I did the test and twin pad said the plugin should work correctly so i am pretty lost on this one.

yeah i just redownload direct x just because u said try it said my version is newer or equal..ugh maybe i'll just have break down and get a controller. But i really want to know why it won't work more then i want to play the damn game now lol.
