I'm having trouble with my pc ps controller adaptor when I try to install it, it says "an error occured during the installation of this device... the class installer has denied the request to install or upgrade this device"

if your adapter connects to the parallel port (printer port), chances are it is a DirectPad Pro clone. the official drivers for which do not run under windows nt or 2k. however there is a 3rd party driver for that.

you can download from Aldo's Tools:

thanks for the drivers. I added the drivers but now it says that "Your gameport or gameport driver are not properly configured. Please consult the device manager." I reconnected the the controller adapter and made sure it was secure. I checked the device manager but I can't find the adapter. How do you configure a gameport? Thanks for the help.
sorry, i dont know much about win2k (or nt)
your gameport is on your sound card right? then try latest win2k drivers for your sound card.
other than that, i have no idea. hopefully someone with win2k can come and help out.
Hi again, actually I'm using the printer port as a gameport. Do you have any ideas on how to configure the printer port? Thanks for your help.
