Actually, 4 Mbit is equivalent to 4096 kbit which in turn is equivalent to 512kByte, so the No$ savetype is Flash 512k.
Be reminded that you need to reset the game after changing the savetype for it to become effective, and that you need to have the same savetype active when you load the game as well.
And for Pokémon, you need to manually save your game using the menu accessed with the X-Button.
EDIT: Also, No$ only writes/updates the .sav file on closing the emu. So if an error ends the process prematurely, any saves since opening the game (resets don't count, reopening the game from the menu does) are lost.
