Well hello, this topic has little value so anyway...there are way too many Chrono Cross threads, I mean the game isn't that good...I recently beat CC with everything and well, the game is lamer compared to CT, it is a disgrace to the amazing Chrono Trigger series...that being said, I think we all need to stop posting about CC and go play CT in the recent Final Fantasy Collections, or go play another classic RPG, Secret of Mana comes to mind, now there was an awesome game. Well thanks for reading and caring so much. I love you all.

But Seriously I think the threads are there for more of how to get it working properly. Crono Cross is very hard to get working 100% and everyone seems to have different problems. Also you should know telling people would they should/shouldn't do isn't the best way to make friends. But your definitly right abourt CT, it's sweet. I think you should play both.

Brumbek, its fine to have your own opinion. I respect that, but please do not try to impose your opinion on others by telling them that they shouldn't play a certain game or that they shouldn't post about it. If you want people's opinions on the game Chrono Cross then you should open a thread in the off-topic discussion.

Crono chross might not has a story as nice as CT but it is still a very good game, it might be kinda boring at start but it gets much better later and has many different thing to do appart from walking and figthing

i just recently finished cc and i must say i was dissapointed. I mean the gameplay was spectacular, fighting was good, interactions were fine, and music was great, but the plot was a little ***. CT did have a better story. With that said, cc is a good game, but it'll be a little dry for someone who doesn't normally play rpgs.

heh, CC sucks, 70 characters or something and only about 5 have "character" and history
and 3-60 boy, heh, people like me...heh, i understand connections fine, everyone claims CT and CC are so well connected and Square$oft did such great job...hmmm the connections are so trivial and pasted in...what i mean is, they could have done a COMPLETELY different story and simply tied it in they way they did, The connections were clearly not thought out while CT was being developed...BAH
yes, i understand the techincal merits for trying to get the game to work on espxe, the point is CC is lamer...no one has given me any valid reasons for why CC is good (graphics are meaningless, if you play psx games for graphics....you need help)

Or at least move it. Mayhap I'm being unintelligent, but I haven't seen the connection to epsxe in here yet.
This is funny, you use "ur" for you're, I like that, perhaps english isn't your forte? Well, Espxe is an emulator, this post is an emulator...the connection is natural...ly dissimiliar. Well, as for connections, there are no connections that aren't very shallow and poorly done. I mean Lavos turns into the Time eater guy, I mean cmon, they could have done ANYTHING. He could have turned into a clone of Crono's cat...the whole island place where this game takes place (If forget the name) has nothing to do with the CT story...they could have created any other place like a huge mountain cave for the game to take place. And Schala being trapped with Lavos, well, once again, they could have done anything with that, make Lavos turn into Schala, making Schala turn into Lavos then turn into Crono's cat's cat food...

(I realize the rifts thing is kind of true, since when Lavos was destroyed, the dimensions were created) But the story of, "in CT you beat Lavos, yeah!!, but wait, in CC Lavos magically turns into the time eater guy, and he is bad!!" Talk about lame...he eats time??? Without time what would there be? The entire idea of a game and a problem, such as Lavos, is that in the future (time is needed), the bad guy will do bad things, and in the rpesent (time needed again) we must stop him, but if there is no time...there is nothing...
So anyway, there is your intelligent post, perhaps you disagree, but hey, you need to read my first sentence, this post is useless. And it does apply to the ePSXe board since I am making the claim CC is boring and people should use the awesome emulator ePSXe to play better games. Of course, I am half-kidding since I myself played through CC several times with ePSXe, so who am I to tell others what to do, so DON'T PANIC. Probably the best advice many of you have heard today...

You actually got me more interested in the game with what you just told about the story.. I've had the game for a while now and haven't had much time to play it. Now that you have said that, I think I will go play the game more.. Hehe.. Thanks.. Even if you think the game is kinda lame, it sounds pretty cool to me..

Reference General Discussion and/or Off-Topic Discussion. You're basically just bashing Chrono Cross, nothing at all to do with how good it sounds/looks/plays under ePSXe or basically anything else.

In my opinion, CC was a great game. Quite a few characters lacked ability, but it was a great game, no less. As an RPG, anyway. But when you compare it to CT, it pales. CT still my top game on the list.

Alright people, please just agree to disagree. People will have there opinions and no negative comments about them will change their opinion. This thread doesn't really belong in the ePSXe discussion, because Brumbeck's point is the same whether the game is being played in a real PSX or an emulator.

OK we(or at least I) understand that and the reasons behind your opinion, but it seems that the reason you started this thread was to change other people's opinions, which isn't going to happen unless some people play the game and decide they feel the same way you do.
