ok, I'm done now. Thanks for your patience.

Ok, after a week or so of editing images and *whew* translating the game script, I'm proud to present you the second storyline of Konami's Tokimeki Memorial Drama Series Vol. 3: Tabidachi No Uta. This time, it's the story of the other heroine in the game, Miharu Tatebayashi.

so as to enjoy the story to its fullest, I suggest you read the shiori part first until you get to the Skiing part, then continue on here.

For emulator configurations, refer to the Shiori thread.

<p>It was last wednesday when she phoned me. She got the wrong number actually, but somehow we start talking about ourselves. She will be graduating this year, that means she is of my age. Both of us have a similarity in that we have something we want to do before graduation. Mine is marathon, while she hasn't told me hers. She is quite fun actually, she listens to all my mumblings so far. And somehow I accepted her invitation to meet this Sunday...and somehow, I chose to meet her rather than skiing with Shiori, Yoshio, and Yumi. Sigh...I think it will be better to spend time with Shiori...well, nevermind, at least I can use this Sunday for training.

<p>Koala hair... a strange way to recognize people, but that's what she said.. Now where can I find a Koala...erm, I mean a girl with Koala hair..

"Tanakasan.." I turned to my back where the voice came...

"Wow, how did you find me? There are a lot of people wearing black jackets"

"etto.. I.. I just imagine the image of your voice.. fufufu"

"I see.. my name is Takahashi Ryu, Kirameki Koukou Third year"

"I'm Tatebayashi Miharu, also in Kirameki Koukou. Everybody called me Koala hair"

"Really.. wow I didn't notice you for sure in Kirameki.. it is really a nice coincidence"

"yeah.. ehehehe.. by the way, you wanted to get some training for the marathon, right? I know a good place.. shall we go?"

"But I thought you want to talk about your problem..."

"Daijoubu.. sa.. Ikou.."

<p>We arrived at a training center.. but wait a minute...that is... this is....

"Ijuin's???"

"Sou.. I happen to know this place and I think it is a good place for your training.
It has a good facility.. sa, let's go in"

"But.. Ijuin's...."

After a warm welcome speech from Ijuin (I would really love to skip that part though) we look around the gym. At least Ijuin does give advice on what training would be good for me.. Now we are standing in front of what is called a football training centre...

"Nope.. not at all, but I think it will be good if Ijuin said so..."

"Sa.. why don't you try?"

After a few tries, I managed to pass beginner level, well the program itself is fun.. it is more like a game than a trainer.. Next we go to running gym

"hm.. Ok, I'll try this one"

"ganbarimasho!"

What the.. the setting is too fast!! Wuuuaaaaaa.. I'm running like mad now.. this machine is very fast.. I'm not going to sprint for that long!!!

"hosh hosh... that was killing"

"fufufu.. but a good training"

"Yeah, but I'm totally exhausted.. hosh hosh.."

<p>After a bit argument with Miharu, finally here we are.. in front of the swimming pool. But there is a strange guy guarding it...

<p>"This is Ijuin's Private Deluxe Swimming Pool. No one is allowed to enter"

"But I want to do some exercise"

"I see.. you have a nice body. Please come in"

Hah?! Nice body?! This guy is a freak! As I have predicted he followed me everywhere. I don't care...Ok, I'll start my training...

"Miharu, you don't swim?"

"No.. It is a bit embarassing wearing swimming suit"

"Wait a minute! You must do some exercise before going into the pool! It is for your own good"

Geezzz.. I did some exercise to make him happy and then start my training. And everytime I rest he will offer me towel.. scary.. eh, where is Miharu?

"She has gone to changing room"

Then minutes later I saw her in her swimsuit...

I changed my mind because I see you training so hard, so I think I shouldn't have bothered with this kind of tiny thing..."

Then when I go back training Miharu was standing at the edge of the pool.

"I bring this towel specially for you, that guy always tries to give you a towel so I didn't have the chance. I have specially brought this towel for you this time."


"You there! What are you doing in my private pool?!"

"Ijuinkun, he just want to practice for the marathon"

"Sotoi! Who told you to let them in?"

"Ijuinsama.. I'm sorry"

"But, I just want to train for a while, what's wrong with that? Nobody uses this pool anyway. Is there anything you want to hide?"

"It is none of your business" I can see _his_ face turn bright red.

"Now get out of here and I don't want to see you in the pool again! Sotoi, escort them out!"

"Hai, Ijuinsama. I'm sorry, but you had better go out"

"Ok.. ja, miharu"

What's wrong with him? We just merely use the pool, it is not that we did anything bad..
I just can't understand him..

"By the way Miharu, let's call it a day. Anyway, we still haven't talked about your problem. It is the reason why we meet today, right?"

"Ah.. It is alright, don't worry"

"But you have helped a lot with my training, now it is my time to help you"

"a.. hai.. there is a cafe over there, shall we go?"

"Sure"

"Here is your order, please enjoy it" The waitress came and put our orders on the table

<p>There is a silence.. it looks like she was going to say something before the waitress came but now she looks hesitant...

"I.. I.. liked someone. But I don't have the courage to tell him..."

<p>Her face turned red.. so that was the problem...she doesn't have the courage to tell the one she loves... Well, I too don't have the courage to tell Shiori...I wonder why there are people like us, we can't tell the ones we love that we love them...

"I'm sure you will be able to do it, Tatebayashi-san. I'll give you my support. You have given me your support on the marathon, now I'll give you my support to summon your courage. I'm sure you will able to do it"

My mind is filled with her problem when I go back home...both of us have things that we want to accomplish before graduation...
How silly we are.. just a little problem.. what is so difficult of saying those words.. yet we can't.. Koi no Nayami ka (Love anguish)...

Whew.. I'm tired.. this training with Nozomi. Now I'll have to rush back to Shiori.. It's not good to always let her wait for me.. it has...BUMP!

"Ok.. that's fine with me.. but you'll have to wait 'till I finish.. is that alright?"

"SURE! I'll wait for you at the front gate.. ja ne.. see you"

And.. why the heck did I say Ok to Tatebayashisan.. I should have spent my time with Shiori.. I don't know why, but something about her makes me want to know her more. And I have to let Shiori walks home alone today for that...Sigh...hmm...where is Miharu? Oh no, don't tell me she has gone home...

So then we walk home together. We talked a lot.. about school, upcoming graduation, my training, her class. I just found out that she is in the same class as Mikihara Megumi, Shiori's best friend. About her hair having 'Koala-shaped'... She is very fun to be with...

"Sure, why not" I smiled "etto.. 100 yen ka.. hai" I inserted the coin...

Eh...? I was kinda surprised.. that frame.. is a love frame that I wanted to take with Shiori (though she rejected...sigh).. well anything..

"Sure."

Today I have a bit time before the album work starts...so I decided to pay Miharu a visit.

"eh.." her face turned red.. did I say something wrong... "ano.. just kidding..."

"un.. it is alright.. you can call me Miharu if you want to.." eh.. really?? I just wanted to tease her and...

"a.. Takahashi-kun.. is it alright if we go home together again.. today?" She sounds a bit hesitant...

"sure. meet you at the front gate?"

Today we pass through a small bookstore. She said that she always went here during her childhood time.. After looking at the store, I realised that this is the bookstore where I always read comics during my childhood also..

"Really?" she said "I didn't know that you often went here also.. strange isn't it? We visited the same bookstore yet we don't know each other.."

I can feel that a sad tone in her voice.. but I don't know why...

"Life is strange, isn't it?"

"Irashai" the shopkeeper replied.. hahahaa.. now I remember.. she can't pronounce Iraisha correctly.. Miharu and I laughed together...

The next day:

"Ne, shall we sit there for a while?" Miharu told me.

"Sure.."

And thanks to that Nozomi laughed at me during the training the next morning.. I feel that I'm a bit fool myself.. but my heart is thankful for Miharu's attention...

During the afternoon when we go home together, we sit at the same place again...

Somehow I feel that she is afraid of losing something.. Is it because she still can't confess to the one she loves? Am I too, afraid of losing something important in my life.. before the graduation.. I MUST help her. I must help her, give her the courage to confess to her love...

She has been very quiet today...is it because of yesterday...?
