Yup,the 21.81 are the best so far(followed very closely by the 12.90,but if you have a GF3 get the 21.81,you'll get a 30/50% performance increase!).

Well here is one recommendation for me......!....if you are using a Asus made card having a nVidia chipset.........them use the original drivers......!

I tried to use the latest detonator......but it sort of messed up some speed......!........but from my opinion I think that WHQL certified 14.10 detonators are the best........!

I have experienced almost the double amount of points in 3dmark2001 w/ the 21.81 ones
(12.90 : about 1000; 21.81: around 1750)
I guess it s just a matter of video card... (I m using a Geforce256, [3Dprophet256, from Guillemot] )

The fact is, that I m very surprised to see people who own a geforce2 gts/ultra saying that it the detonators 4 just give a small boost of performance (As you, Raziel). Since I saw that the huge performance boost would be mostly available for the geforce2&3 series (true for the geforce3).

I would also say that, when I don t play, I m switching to the 12.90
or 10.80 instead of the 21.81...there are still very buggy (Blur disappearing whenever ram is being too used; out of memory message ramdomly showing in the middle of a 3d application)

(and I thought of upgrading my ol' geforce :D, tssk ;) )

I guess the GeForce 2 was already maxed out with previous drivers set,but the GeForce 1 wasn't.
But I also noticed that most people telling they got a performance increase are Win2K users, maybe it's just a coincidence(right word?).

Me too...
My setup:
AMD T-bird 1200C
MSI K7T Turbo
256mb sdram
32mb Geforce GTS
7200 rpm Seagate Barracuda
with a gazillion apps in the background
3dmark scores:
12.90 : ~3200
20.81: ~3300
q3a(2x2FSAA, all at max, 800x600) demo map
12.90: ~60fps(not sure)
20.80: ~70fps(not sure again)

summary: 20.81 faster OGL hard to install 12.90 tried and tested my previous favorite. note from what i've heard 7.xx series works best if u have a tnt2 based card)
